The Assembly of the Children of God Christian Church

The Assembly of the Children of God Christian Church is made up of every day folk, just like you that have been chosen by God to become an active part of our fellowship. We come together as a congregation to worship and offer Praise to our God, the God of creation, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel on each seventh day Sabbath, and also on each of God’s annual Sabbaths.

Mission

Our mission is to be apart of the fulfillment of Christ’s prophecy as recorded in (Matt. 24:14). We have been commissioned to teach and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God as a witness in all the world. We have been appointed to baptize those that believe the message of God’s grace and teach them to observe all things Christ has commanded us. (Matthew 28:19-20).

Our Ministries

Family oriented gatherings are a mainstay of our church as they often provide opportunities for growth in many other areas of ministry. We’ve found that in these gatherings, those much needed bridges between the generational divides are formed and nurtured.

Community ministries involve us in nursing home visitations as well as visiting the seniors around the community and extending helping hands. We seek opportunities to serve within the prison system through visitation and committee volunteering.

Our retreats and camps are designed to nourish both soul and spirit. Beyond prayer and teaching, we create space for joyful connection, quiet reflection, and encounters with God through nature, community, and creativity. On all our journeys and retreats you can expect:
